Koens 2nd Birthday Party

Koens 2nd Birthday Party

Rawr, Stomp and Chew, my little Dino just turned 2!!

Yes, that’s right - my LAST baby turned two on the weekend!! Once I stopped sobbing like a crazy person, I distracted myself with party planning and setting up for his dinosaur themed birthday party!

Now, if you ask my husband I 100% go overboard for my kids birthday parties, especially since they’ll never remember these early parties. However, I tend to disagree and figure as long as I take a million photos to show them later on it’s totally worth it.

I probably bought the neighborhood dollar store out of just about every tiny dino they had. Using some coloured construction paper, glue and mini Pom poms I made tiny little party hats for each of them (because what’s a party dinosaur without a party hat ha ha).

All the balloons, and streamers for the party were supplied by Party City.

We got out cupcakes made by a local lady named Annie (@anniescakesyeg). We opted for Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting, and they were delicious.  I got the party package from the Party Parcel Store which also included these cute little cupcake toppers.

Also in our Party Parcel Store package was all these cute gift bags.  I try not to put a lot of candy in gift bags so instead I filled these with, colouring packs, stickers, play dough and Dinosaur shapes molds for the play dough.

Now only 3.5 more months until I have another birthday party to throw... I better start planning now!
